Bicester Green Gym meet every Tuesday between 9.30-12.30 and the aim is to get fit physically and mentally by working outdoors and seeing the improvements that can be brought to the environment AND IT'S ALL FREE!! Bicester Community Fridge

Bicester Community Fridge was set up in October 2019 with the aim of reducing food waste by redistributing what might otherwise go to landfill to the community.

Bicester Community Fridge is not a food bank, therefore there are no welfare criteria for those who might want to use it. It is based on trust and community spirit. Click the image for more information!

Bicester Green

Bicester Green is a Centre for skills, sustainability and second hand stuff. It operates by intercepting items that are destined for landfill and use them as catalyst for learning in their workshops.

It is a place for sharing skills between people, inviting those with knowledge of repair of bikes, furniture and electrical items to share their skills with those who would benefit from learning. Click the image for more information!

NICE Encourages Use of Greener Asthma Inhaler

A new patient decision aid, released in 2019, highlighted that some inhalers have a much higher carbon footprint than others.

The aid will help people with asthma, alongside health professionals, to identify which inhalers could meet their needs and control their symptoms.

Bicester Health Centre are committed to working alongside the National Guidance to reduce the carbon footprint of our asthma inhalers.
