A GP registrar (a qualified hospital doctor) usually joins us each year to gain experience of general practice before being allowed to practice independently. In addition medical students from University College London Medical School, together with student nurses and midwives, join us to experience general practice. Patients will be asked to give consent if it is proposed to video their consultation for training purposes or if a student is to be present to observe.

The Well-being workers help GPs with assessments and management of common mental health problems and acting as a signpost for patients to other services which may benefit them. They ensure people access the best route into a service. Link Workers also offer advice and support to other agencies such as social care.
Social prescribers connect people with a range of non clinical programmes, services and events in their local community – like walking groups, mental health counseling, debt management advice, employability skills, volunteering, family fitness, healthy cooking programmes, mindfulness sessions, and the ‘green prescription’ of gardening and food growing.

The Care Coordinator team are here to help you. Their responsibility is to ensure that all patients have equitable access to our resources and the smooth running of our organisation. Looking after so many patients and running many clinics simultaneously is often stressful and we appreciate your consideration. In order to assist you quickly and appropriately they may have to ask for more details about your condition. Please let them know if you change your name, address, telephone number etc. in order that our records for you and other members of your family are up to date. Our Care Coordinators are bound by the same rules of patient confidentiality as the doctors and nurses.
