GP Registrars

A GP registrar (a qualified hospital doctor) usually joins us each year to gain experience of general practice before being allowed to practice independently. In addition medical students from University College London Medical School, together with student nurses and midwives, join us to experience general practice. Patients will be asked to give consent if it is proposed to video their consultation for training purposes or if a student is to be present to observe.

Integrated Neighbourhood Team

The Integrated Neighbourhood Team (INT) is a group of health and care staff who are members of different organisations and professions (e.g. GPs, social workers, nurses), that work together to make decisions regarding the treatment of individual patients and service users. The INT are here to support our most complex, or housebound, or frail patients.

Advanced Nurse Practitioners

Our Advanced Nurse Practitioners are prescribers who can assess and treat a wide range of conditions and also have specific areas of expertise such as diabetes and asthma/COPD.

Shahrzad leads the practice nursing team. She is an independent nurse prescriber and specialises in diabetes care. She is in practice on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday

Works Tuesdays & Thursdays Jane is a diabetes care specialist and is a nurse prescriber. She has undertaken the minor illness and injury course and holds certificates in asthma, COPD care and diabetic nursing.

Our paramedic is a registered prescriber who can assess and treat a wide range of conditions.

Clinical Pharmacist

Clinical pharmacists work as part of the general practice team to improve value and outcomes from medicines and consult with and treat patients directly. This includes providing extra help to manage long-term conditions, advice for those on multiple medicines and better access to health checks

Nurses

Undertakes a wide range of procedures from injections and immunisations to cervical smears and wound dressings. Supervises and supports our Health Care Assistants.

LIBBY THOMAS

Libby is a general practice nurse who sees patients for routine and urgent demand nurse appointments daily. She is trained in the management of chronic disease (COPD and Asthma) and is an independent prescriber.

SARA DUGGAN

Sara is one of our Practice Nurses. As well as all usual treatment room tasks, Sara's main interest is vaccinations - especially childhood immunisations. She is well versed in travel advice and also very experienced in cervical cytology.

Karen is a general practice nurse who sees patients for routine and urgent demand nurse appointments daily.

Zoe specialises in respiratory condition care and provides spirometry to help diagnose conditions. She is also involved in practice-based research programmes,

Our wellbeing workers are employed through the charity MIND. They are able to assess and support people with mild to moderate mental health conditions.

Children and Young Persons Wellbeing Worker

Employed by the charity MIND, our Children and Young Persons Wellbeing worker can assess and support 7-17 year olds with mental health or behavioural concerns as well as neurodiverse conditions, such as ADHD and ASD.

The Patient Coordinator team is here to help you. Their responsibility is to ensure that all patients have equitable access to our resources and the smooth running of our organisation. Looking after so many patients and running many clinics simultaneously is often stressful and we appreciate your consideration. In order to assist you quickly and appropriately they may have to ask for more details about your condition. Please let them know if you change your name, address, telephone number etc. in order that our records for you and other members of your family are up to date. Our Patient Coordinators are bound by the same rules of patient confidentiality as the doctors and nurses.
